John could make anyone laugh. We would chat and just laugh at the most random things. That’s what I’m going to miss the most. I’m so grateful that I’ve known John because even when things were bad he would still joke around. One of my favorite memories is when he would wear socks and sandals and I would tease him. He told me it was so his feet wouldn’t get cold or dirty. He always had the best answers to everything. I’m so grateful for the times I had with John. My heart is broken for his entire family and I know he is truly missed.

               I cannot believe that it has been 10 days since you left us.  I feel like I'm going to wake up in the morning and see you.  I'm not going to lie...its been hard on me and mama, but we are so happy that you are not suffering anymore. We know you are smiling at us from above and making everyone up there smile and laugh too. 
             Dad, I miss you so much! I miss joking and laughing with you. I miss your hugs and you massaging me. I miss us tag teaming and messing with mama. I miss laying down and reminiscing about our memories of Guam and being in the service.  I wish I could've taken you home one last time, but I know that you are with grandma, Grandpa, uncle Kin, auntie Mamaling and the.  rest of our family.  
Thank you for loving me and showing me the importance of family. For always cooking for me. For teaching me to stand up for myself and knowing my worth.

Sending love and prayers that you always feel comforted knowing Uncle John is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus and all our family who have gone before us! I can see him up there now playing cards, drinking, and sharing in laughter with them all.

You will be dearly missed Uncle John.  I know you were a family man and loved your family so much.   What i will always remember is your laughter...I would see you laughing hard with my dad and the other uncles and i just find myself chuckling but didn't know what you were laughing about.   You had an infectious laughter.   Fly high with the other Angels and continue to look after your loved ones.   I will love and miss you Uncle!

Uncle John, We will always miss your quick wit comments and your genuine laughter. You were  a man who said it like it is. We know you are now at peace. Auntie Bebing and Trish will always be taken care off and we know you are their Angel looking out for them and your wonderful Brothers and Sisters. You will always be in our hearts. We love and miss dearly!

I remember first meeting “JJ” at Guam party in Okinawa, Japan.  He didn’t smile much evident by his stoic facial expression and had a firm handshake. That all lasted but a quick 5 seconds. Under his crusty demeanor what a very soft, light hearted and comical guy.  That first meeting was “love at first sight” of a forever lasting friendship with him that stretched across miles of ocean and different continents! JJ,  you taught me to be tough while sensitive, to relax some and not be all consumed with work and to enjoy life! I will miss you my friend! I know you are celebrating in Heaven!  I love you and will forever cherish our memories over the years!
