You often cross my mind and I remember your sweet happy smile!  I remember just how much you loved homemade mash potatoes and gravy and baked yams. I made them several times a week for you knowing how much you loved the taste of each separately and not all blended together. You started putting on some weight and smiling even more. I miss sitting and talking with you. I miss looking at your pictures of your grand babies and your family. I miss seeing how happy you were when you talked about them. I miss talking with you about Danny after having the pleasure of knowing him while he was lovingly taking care of you. I remember the things you so proudly showed me that you had from him and kept ever so safely put away to keep a piece of him with you always. You Were very proud of all your family You loved your daughters dearly and didn't want to disappoint them It still brings me sadness to know that your gone but I will always remember the joy and pleasure it was to know you. My love to you in heaven

I sure miss you and think of you often.  I remember the day you came in to the office and it was just me there.  You were happy and excited and asked me if I wanted to see a card trick.  How could I say no?  I happily said yes and you sat down and did your card trick.  When you were done you giggled and said "do you want me to teach you how to do it?"  You began to explain just how to do the trick.  Then you said to me now you can do it!  I smiled and thanked you and assured you I would certainly try.
I also remember when I came to see you one night and you were laying in bed.  I came in and sat next to you and we began to talk.  You held my hand and at one point leaned closer to me to whisper.  You told me your counters were dirty and your counters are never dirty.  That those people never clean the counters.  I told you those people work for you, and if you want your counters clean just tell them to clean the counters.  I told you anything you want done they will do if you just tell them.
I remember talking with you about your son Danny.  I remember you taking me into your room and getting out a knife you had from him.  You were so proud and missed him so.
I really enjoyed the time we spent together.  We talked about so many things.  Mostly how I was going to get you strong enough to go out on walks again.  I am truly sorry we were never able to do that.
The last time I saw you, you were so happy to see me.  You said how did you get in here?  I said to you, "I told you I would".  You laughed and said "yes you did!".  You talked a lot about your grandchildren that day and showed me pictures of them.  You loved your family very much.
I will miss you and remember you always.  You took  a piece of my heart with you.  Until we meet again.......


Dick was very special to me.  I enjoyed all the times we spent together.  He was a caring and loving soul.  He was very proud of his family and often spoke of you and shared his wonderful photos.  I will never forget his joy in showing his card tricks.  I remember clearly the first time he came to me and said "I want to show you a card trick".  Then he tried to teach me how to do it. We spent hours talking some days and some nights. I'll always remember sitting next to him holding his hand and giving him a soft hug when I said goodbye.  I love you Richard and I will miss you.
