A JOCKEY'S PRAYER

Dear Lord, 
 
Take us safely across this track today. As we maneuver each turn, speed through each furlong, thunder down the backstretch, run home to the finish line, protect my home and life. May I always treat  my horses with the dignity they deserve as a magnificent creation of your mighty hand. I will honor you with my life today. Oh Lord. I trust you and Thank you for always being with me. 
Amen..

Rest in peace my one and only true cowboy in my life.

Dad, I miss you so much! Your soft voice telling me you love me were your last words to me before I left your room.. I will never forget. Thank you for your blessing that day. I felt your love in your warm hands holding on to mine.   Being your daughter was the easy part! I will continue to pray for you and with hopes you do the same. Protect me papa like you did on earth! One day we will reunite and until that day your one and only daughter will keep you alive in my heart and I promise to never let you down . Please watch over my children as they grow up to be parents and I know they will tell stories of what a great awesome grandpa you were. Te Amo papa... muchos besos! Sylvia
