on August 30. 2020. Born January 12, 1937 and raised in Campo, California. He
spent 4 years in the United States Air Force with an honorable discharge. He worked
as a heavy equipment operator for a paving company and retired after 37 years of
service. Manuel had a zest for life with a big smile who loved to laugh and spend
time with his ever growing family. He also loved hunting. He was a dedicated son,
brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.
Manuel met the love of his life, Ernestina, as a teenager and has been lovingly
married to her for 62 years. He leaves behind her along with 5 children including
daughters Rose, Teresa, Priscilla, Alberta and son Manuel. He is preceded in death
by son Michael and granddaughter Lisa Marie. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren,
24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, brother Eddie and sister Jessie.
Manuel is remembered for his undying love of his family and leaves behind a great
legacy of loyalty, friendship, and humor. We will miss him immensely!
