It was so shocking to hear of Mary’s death a few years back. How we praise God for the ministry she founded and for the terrific servants who are continuing. God BLESS you!

I remember her when i was In Sonshine haven from A long time Ago it was really fun that she was the one who taught me and even helped me out it started when I was 9 years old and now I'm 12 years old In 2020, on November 6 2019 I had to go to her funeral and it was so Emotional that i was crying a lot. I got that from my mom and dad, they know about the haven too.  😢But now without her I feel so sad and I just hope she's still proud of me that I'm getting through this Corona virus that's happening this year and that she misses me back as i do. 🛐✝️☺️😢:'(

Mari was such a light for Jesus in everything that she did.  Her morning devotionals, writing in her journal, and having that peaceful time was something I always admired about Mari.  She not only made time to listen to our Savior, but dedicated her life to share His good news with others.  Mari was devoted to the Sonshine Haven and as a teacher I was able to see how it greatly impacted the children of El Cajon.  Students would bring their donated Bibles in their backpacks saying, "It is God's book written to them."  Thank you for impacting so many lives Mike and Mari - your love for Christ continues to shine through your 4 beautiful children and Hunter the newest addition to the family <3 Sending so much love - Tera and Cameron

Dear Mike and family: we are so sorry and shocked about Mari's passing. I am myself in mourning here in PR because my younger brother died also on November 6. Mari was  so energetic and full of passion for her family and Sonshine Haven! May you find comfort in friends, family and in the Lord.. Peter and Ginger. 🙏😥

Heaven has just been blessed with Mari. She is with her Savior and sharing his love was a passion I saw in her during my years at Skyline.
Prayers for Mike and the rest of the family at this time.

It is still a shock to think that this precious, vibrant little woman has already gone to heaven. We were long distance friends, also  in the ministry of reaching children for Christ, though we live overseas. We were astounded to see the work God accomplished through Mari and her team. What a legacy she leaves! And what an entrance she surely had through heaven’s gates. Might God wrap a big blanket of comfort and peace around her husband, family members, friends, and hundreds of children who are mourning her passing. She was a bright light for the Lord!!!

Mari Rotham was one of the most beautiful souls I have ever known. She was kind, generous and a fragrance of Christ wherever she went.
