She is survived by her children, Layla Pola, Fared Pola, Sabri Pola, Ahlam Pola, Amer pola, Ayad Pola, Ayda pola, Kays Pola, Haytham Pola, and by her brother Farage Somo, her brother Salem Somo, and her sister Salema Somo, and Mariam also leaves behind 25 Grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at St Peter Chaldean Catholic Cathedral, 1627 Jamacha Way, El Cajon, CA 92019, US, on July 1, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:25 am.

A Committal Service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 4470 Hilltop Dr, San Diego, CA 92102, US, on July 1, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
