Pamela Blanche Macdonald, 77 of Crest, California, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025.
Pamela was a devoted wife to Allan Adwen Macdonald, a loving mother to her daughters Meghann (Kurt) McGlyn and Ashlie (John) Greene, and a proud grandmother to five cherished grandchildren McKenna, Reghann, Owen, Kyleigh and Kassidy. She was also a Sister, Aunt and loyal friend to many.
Pamela had the gift of making everything special, from perfectly curated outfits, lunches and Halloween costumes to turning a simple grey sweatshirt into something stylish. Pamela was a woman of remarkable strength, beauty, wisdom and selflessness.
Pamela’s love, generosity and grace, touched countless lives. As a nurse Pamela lived a life of service. She cared for others daily and continued to give back through volunteer work. From helping refugee babies during the Vietnam War to hospital outreach throughout her nursing career. Giving was simply part of who she was.
Pamela was always up for an adventure with her husband from building a home, to raising animals, starting a vineyard and their many travels. Pamela was also her husband’s copilot in the many airplane journeys they shared. Pamela’s life was full, rich and deeply meaningful.
We are all truly blessed to have known Pamela. Pamela will be missed more than words can express but she will forever remembered in our hearts.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Pamela’s memory to “The Michael J. Fox Foundation,” a nonprofit organization, which supports finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease.
