Karen,  I am so sorry for your loss. Richard has always been a good friend to my dad (Paul) and our family. We had a lot of good times with you both and a lot of fun going out to eat when you two came into town. We will miss those times greatly. Richard was always there when it counted, we will never forget that. May god bless you and your family during this difficult time.

Uncle Rick…. Where do I start? I have multiple memories from visiting you guys in San Diego as a kid, when you guys moved to El Cajon as well. The many visits back home to Michigan (it’s helped that my mom was Aunt Karen’s twin sister). You were one in a million, you’ll be truly missed. The photos that I’m sharing are from my wedding cause it’s the memories I will hold in my heart forever. Please give Brian a hug from me!!!! I love & miss you both dearly. xoxoxoxox 

Dear Pop. I'm very saddened by your death. I've missed you for many years. I want to tell you that I love you with all of my heart and soul. You have been a true father and a blessing for me and your fantastic boys. Although I neither a Wedge by name, I consider myself a true son of Wedge. I was welcomed as such. I'm going to miss our phone calls reminiscing about our past. Love always your other son. I love you pops ❤️ 

I met Richard at a CMA event. I attended an event in Labelle, FL where "I knew no one" Richard approached me and immediately befriended me and made me feel comfortable being there. Another example, I had some trouble at a place I was staying and Richard and Karen immediately insisted that I come to a safe place and stay with them at their house. Every time I come to Florida, Richard and Karen have a bed reserved for me. Richard and Karen Wedge taught me what Christians look like, it's Christianity at work. Thank you Richard, you left me with love demonstrated.
