Robert Cruz Rosario

Robert Cruz Rosario passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on November 29, 1963, in Inarajan, Guam, Robert was the son of Gregorio Rosario and Teofila Cruz. At the age of eight, he moved to San Diego, where he grew up in the South Bay, attended Castle Park Middle School, and graduated from Lincoln High School. He resided in Poway, California.

Throughout his life, Robert carried himself with steadfast integrity and a quiet strength that spoke more loudly than words. He dedicated 17 years of service to the 800-acre Trevi Hills community (formerly Muth Valley), working as a Certified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Preparation Technician. With a humble spirit and remarkable endurance, he approached demanding environmental work with calm capability, earning the trust of all who depended on him. In the landscapes he helped safeguard and the standards he set through consistent, reliable work, Robert leaves a legacy that will not be forgotten.

Robert is survived by his wife, Jennifer Newby; his four children, Greg, Robert Jr., Adriana, and Jordan; his granddaughters, Abigail, Brianna and Diana; his brothers, Larry and Frank Rosario; and his sister, Shirley Rosario.

Visitation will be held at El Cajon Mortuary and Cremation Service, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020, on May 4, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
