I served under Ron on the USS Sperry (AS-12).  He was a good leader and a friend. We had our differences, but he always listened.  I didn't keep up with many people after I left the Navy, but Ron was an exception.  There was something about him that I needed to keep in contact with.  A rare find in people is priceless!!!  He certainly was happy to hear that I had been saved and that I had straightened up my life. We were kin in our world views.  He shared his family with me when we communicated.  I had every intention to visit him in California when I retired or was in a position to take a vacation.  He offered a place to stay and friendship if and when I got there.  I never got to meet his son David or his wife Pam, but was looking forward to it.

Apparently, I am not the only one who held Ron in high esteem!!  May God bless your family Ron!!!

I met Revere through the American Legion Riders and we immediately struck a great friendship, partly because of our enjoyment of riding our Goldwings (a rarity in the ALR) but mostly because I feel everyone he met was a friend. I looked forward to our next meeting whether it was a chapter meeting or a ride we always enjoyed the conversation and listening to his stories. He will be missed. 

A true friend and brother.  There was nothing he would not do for you.  Ron and I shared our experiences as Veterans and Law Enforcement Officers.  He really understand the importance of brotherhood.   Although very seldom politically correct, you always knew where he stood on any given subject.   His honesty was beyond reproach.

I was fortunate enough to work with Ron for the past 10 years. He was my brother and best friend, some people called me his work wife because we were always arguing.... lol. Ron taught me so much about life, politics, guns, motorcycles and more. He always had a story to tell about his many adventures in the military, law enforcement or just a short ride to work on his bike.....there was always a story!!! I've never had anyone who looked after me like Ron did. He always thanked me for my friendship and said he was glad I was his sister. There will never be another Ron and I will miss him every day....Rest in paradise my friend and brother. 

Ron's stories and instructions always held your attention. Enjoyed your friendship, you will be greatly missed by all.

I was fortunate to have spent some time with Ron at his store just days before his passing.  It's hard for me to believe that he is no longer with us.  I will miss his wit, his savvy, his ability to tell a sea story, riding together, and just sharing time with him.  Fair winds and following seas my eternal brother, may you rest in peace with the Creator.

Ron was a wealth of knowledge and an inspiration to others! I will miss you Brother! Until we meet again...

I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
