Rosario Moreno

April 15, 1938 - January 13, 2021

Rosario Moreno, of Spring Valley CA passed away at 82 peacefully at her home on January 13, 2021. She was diagnosed with dementia at 70 years old and succumbed after almost 13 years with Alzheimer’s.

She was born to Joaquin and Rosario Aceves Meza in a small rural village known as Guisiopa, in Sinaloa. As a teenager she left home and lived with her aunt in Culiacan, Sinaloa. She then proceeded to Tijuana, Mexico, knowing she wanted to come to the United States. She became a legal resident and worked as a Nanny. Shortly after she met her husband, Daniel Moreno and married in September 1964. They resided in Spring Valley and she lovingly raised their six children: Amalia, Daniel, Jack, Rosie, Ami and Jessie.

Rosario was a devout Catholic who was very dedicated to her church and always volunteered at any church related events.

She enjoyed traveling to Mexico to visit her family, dancing and supporting to all of her grandchildren at their sport events and other endeavors.

She is survived by a brother and two sisters, all six of her children and 8 grandchildren.

She was a dedicated wife and an unconditional loving mother. She will be always admired for her natural beauty inside and out. Her love and compassion to help her family and others will be her legacy remembered by all.
