Samuel Tanielu Saipele Matagi, age 21, of Santee, California passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020. Samuel was born June 15, 1999 to Nila Nauer and Fesilaf'i Matagi.

Samuel is survived by mother Nila Nauer of American Samoa, American Samoa and father Fesilaf'i Matagi of American Samoa; brother Joelin Chang (Priscilla Tiai) of Santee, California, sister Fietch Tanya Alefosia of american, American Samoa and brother Luke Tusipa Tamasco Sipili Matagi of Santee, California.

Samuel is also survived by a large family and friends in American Samoa.

A visitation for Samuel will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at El Cajon Mortuary and Cremation Service, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020. A cremation will occur.
