

Scott was born Oct. 15, 1961 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. He moved with the family to Pueblo, CO in 1964 and then to Fairbanks, AK in 1967. He was a graduate of Lathrop High School and U of A/Fairbanks. He took undergraduate courses at ASU, Tempe, AZ.
Scott received multitude awards for his engineering work over the years. At the time of his death he had taken an interest in solar energy and had constructed a small solar farm near Alpine, CA. He learned to fly an airplane and solo'd when in college - was a ham radio operator in high school achieving the highest grade license - he was a brilliant engineer who computerized a power plant, a radio station, computerized the charting for the US Forest Service and more, when very young, at the beginning of the computer age.
He was a member of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, CA and among his many ventures, had his own Christian radio station operating 24/7 from his home. Scott had been wheelchair bound the final half dozen years of his life.
Scott is survived by four children, sons Timothy, Luke and Theodore Dennis, (Anchorage, AK), and a daughter Genevieve (Christian) Eidem, (Ukraine); parents Annette and Donald Dennis (AK and CA); brother Stephen (Debora) Dennis and children Donald, Steven and Bethany (TX); and brother, Todd Dennis and children Thomas, Susanna and Bridget (CA); a sister Teena Dennis (AZ); and aunts Marlene (Ivan) Kundel and Karen Kuiken (SD).
Scott was predeceased by grandparents K. Leo and Florence Dennis of CO, Walter C Miller Jr. and Genevieve Miller of SD and nephew Steven Kuiken, of SD.
