Shami Butrus Hirmiz Kabola

Shami is survived by her children, Ghazala M. Ishaq, Fahmi M. Ishaq, Kareem M. Ishaq, Kamal M. Ishaq, Isam M. Ishaq, and Hanaa M. Ishaq. She was predeceased by her son, Sabah M. Ishaq. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church, located at 3348 Sweetwater Springs Blvd, Spring Valley, CA 91977, on January 28, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:10 pm.

Following the funeral service, a graveside service will take place at El Cajon Cemetery, 2080 Dehesa Rd, El Cajon, CA 92019, from 12:35 pm to 1:15 pm.

A committal service will be conducted at El Cajon Mortuary and Cremation Service, 684 South Mollison Ave., El Cajon, CA 92020, from 1:55 pm to 1:59 pm on the same day.
