Sonia Lee Di Stefano

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sonia Lee Di Stefano, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 69. Born in Calexico, California, Sonia later made El Cajon her home, where her and her husband built a life together centered on love, family, and adventures. Sonia is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and many extended family members. Sonia and her husband, Robert "Bob" Di Stefano, shared a life full of adventure. They enjoyed riding their Harley, traveling across the country, attending shows, and relaxing on their patio with their beloved fur babies. Family was at the heart of everything Sonia did. Nothing made her happier than having everyone gathered together. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren with thoughtful gifts. The memories made in her home will be cherished for years to come. Sonia had a warm, easygoing nature and a fun-loving spirit. Whether it was spending hours around the kitchen counter catching up with family and friends over a bottle of wine or enjoying an evening out listening to a live blues band, she was happiest being with the people she loved. She had a way of making people feel heard, valued, and genuinely cared about. Sonia's absence will be felt every day by the family and friends who knew and loved her. While we will miss her deeply, we're grateful for the years, memories, laughter, and love we were fortunate enough to share with her. We will carry those memories with us and continue to celebrate the life she lived. A Celebration of Sonia's Life will be held on August 8, 2026, at her favorite place - home.
