In Loving Memory of Thomas Allan Simpson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing after a long struggle of Thomas Allan Simpson, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, on March 24, 2026, in El Cajon, California. Born on January 18, 1952, in Long Beach, California, Tom's journey on this earth was marked by love, dedication, and service to others. Tom was the son of Lucille Vivian Simpson and Douglas Carl Simpson, who instilled in him the values of integrity and compassion.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Simpson, and his parents, whose memories he held close throughout his life. A proud veteran, Tom enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, where he served his country with honor and distinction. His time in the military was a testament to his steadfast dedication and commitment to duty, qualities that he carried with him throughout his life.

He is survived by his sons, John David Simpson and Phillip Carl Simpson, his sister, Terri Lynn Stevens, and his grandchild. As we bid farewell to Tom, we remember him not only for his accomplishments but also for his life, his service, and the connections he made along the way. He will be remembered in different ways by those whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Thomas Simpson.
