Virginia was the cherished daughter of Luis Ibarra Silva and Uvaldina Cabanilla Renteria. She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, her brothers Juan and Jesus "Chuy" Ibarra, and her sister Adela Ibarra, all of whom predeceased her. Her legacy is lovingly carried forward by her sons, Luis, Ramon, Francisco, and Jorge Ruiz, their devoted spouses, and her adoring grandchildren.

Her life was a testament to hard work and dedication. Virginia spent roughly 50 years as a skilled seamstress, where she crafted garments with meticulous care. Her career extended into the restaurant service industry, where she was known for her remarkable work ethic and her genuine care for others. Her faith was the foundation of her life, providing her strength and comfort during her battle with stage four liver cancer, diagnosed in October 2025.

Virginia's passions extended beyond her work and faith. She found immense joy in tending her garden, nurturing plants and caring for her beloved chickens, a pastime she shared with her grandchildren. She relished in traveling with her family and treasured the simple yet profound act of attending church services.
