William Harry Campbell

William "Bill" Campbell was born March 20th, 1934 to William and Helen Campbell in Youngstown, Ohio. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as an aviation mechanic.

Bill was married to Marilyn Cox Campbell. To his union was born 2 daughters, Heather and Bridget.

He was a member of Operating Engineers, Local 12, and worked for several companies as a mechanic/ welder on heavy equipment.

Bill was a member of Shadow Mountain Community Church where he was a faithful volunteer. He entered into the presence of the Lord August 7th at Grossmont Hospital after a short illness.

Surviving are his wife Marilyn, daughter Heather and husband Scott Christensen of Spokane, WA., Grandson Dalton Christensen of USAF, granddaughter Kiera Christensen of Spokane, Sister, Vicki Ringolsby of Palm Springs, Jim Cox, brother in law from Maryville, MO., several nephews and nieces.

Preceding Him in death were daughter Bridget Campbell, Mother Helen Hinkley and stepfather Roy Hinkley, Father, William Campbell and stepmother Arlene Campbell, and brother Jim Campbell. Military services will be held Thursday August 16th at 9:00 a.m. Miramar Nat'l Cemetery, followed by a Memorial Service at Shadow Mountain Church in El Cajon.
