Alice Nell Halfacre

When Alice was about 4, her parents moved the family to Caledonia, AR, where they remained.

In 1957 she met her future husband, Bill Halfacre, and they were married on July 16, 1957. They were blessed with two daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 56 years, a son; two brothers, Tommy Taunton (Inez) of Strong, AR, and Eddie Taunton of Junction City, LA; and one sister, Cindy Taunton Rowland.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Susan Halfacre Bramsch (Bill) of Tulsa, OK, and Sharon Halfacre Fisk (Roger) of Eustis, FL; one brother, Paul Taunton (Geneva) of Camden, AR; two sisters, Betty Taunton Kelly (Alvin) of Junction City, LA, and Ann Bearden of Van Alstyne, TX; three grandchildren, Sarah Fisk (Fiance Mo), Kayelee Fisk Rock (Chris), and Jonathan Bramsch; one great-granddaughter, Alice Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be Saturday, Oct 21, at 1:00 PM at Young's Funeral Chapel in El Dorado, AR. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM with Brother Hugh Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alvin Kelly, Joey Kinard, Don Ottoson, Mo Chater, Chris Rock and Zach Belleville.
