

Amy Pridgen Thomason, 46, of El Dorado, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born December 5, 1974 to Carl H. and Linda Fore Pridgen in El Dorado, AR.
She worked as a dialysis nurse for 20 years at the DaVita Dialysis Clinic and was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Amy was a board member of the Union County Animal Protection Society, a chairperson for Fur ball, she also volunteered with the South Arkansas Pantry Fillers, and Community Thanksgiving. She enjoyed fishing, crafting, gardening, shopping at flea markets, helping people, walking in the rain and campfires.
Preceding her in death are her father, Carl H. Pridgen; and grandparents, Rastus and Amay Fore, and Nellie Pridgen.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Thomason, mother, Linda Fore Pridgen, brother, Keith Pridgen, niece, Kaili Pridgen; nephew, Russell Pridgen; brother-in-law, Brad Thomason (Benita); sister-in-law, Cindy Thomason; aunt and uncle, Virginia and Frankie Risinger; mother-in-law, Marie Thomason; many friends, extended family, and fur babies.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Malone officiating. Burial will follow at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
