She was a member of East Main Baptist Church for 55 years, where she served on the Kitchen committee and enjoyed cooking for others. Anita also served on the Nursery Committee and loved children, especially her grandson Jackson. She also enjoyed music and going to concerts with her daughter Ashley.
For many years she played Bunko with several groups of friends that were more like Family. Anita was a person that truly had a servant’s heart and always tried to do for others before herself. Anyone that was blessed to have known her will tell you that she was irreplaceable and will be missed deeply.
Anita is preceded in death by her father, James Clifford McCullar. Left to cherish her memory are her mother Loretta McCullar, loving husband of 47 years Randy Pugh, her son Wesley Pugh and his son Jackson. Also, her son Courtney Pugh, daughter Ashley Pugh, brother Dennis McCullar (Karen) nephew Jacob McCullar niece Katie Carter (Gage), great nephew Grayson Carter and many more family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday January 21st 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. at East Main Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday the 22nd at 2:00 pm, also at East Main Baptist Church. Anita will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Park in El Dorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the East Main Baptist Church nursery.
