OBITUARY

Ann S Wright

Ann Sands Wright, 82, of El Dorado, passed away, Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. She was born February 23, 1937 to Clifton Sands and Ethel Marie Nix Sands in Waldo, AR.

She was a devout Christian and a faithful servant in several congregations during her time in El Dorado. She was a generous, giving spirit and was led to help many people throughout her life. Ann was a homemaker, active in local charity organizations, a property manager at Christopher Homes and Terrace Villa Apartments. Her greatest joys were her family, helping others, playing bridge or dominoes and shopping.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Jack Berry Wright; daughter, Jeanann Rowland; and sister, Janice Sands Lowe.

Survivors include her son, Berry Wright (Sharon) of Tampa, FL; brother, Donald C. Sands (Sandy) of Waldo; grandchildren, Christopher Mark Morgan of Washington, DC, Brian Daniel Morgan of Batesville, AR, Sarah Kathryn Wright of Tampa, FL, Nathan Harrison Wright of Tampa, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.

We met Miss Ann through Steve Burgess. I loved when they came to visit us in North Carolina. We introduced them to a little place in the mountains called Little Switzerland to get lunch at. She always wanted to go there when they came over. I will always have wonderful memories of the conversations we shared over the years.
