Arlene Owens Bishop

Preceding her in death are her parents, four brothers, and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Darce G. Bishop; daughters, Janice Goldman and husband, Gary of Williford, AR, and Pat Santone and husband, Kevin of Flint, TX; son, John Bishop and wife, Becky of Greenville, TX; sister, Erma Hubbard and husband, Huey, brothers, Billy Owens and wife, Lanelle and Omar Owens and wife, Shirley, all of Junction City, AR; five grandchildren, Christy Galbraith of Tyler, TX, Angie Day and husband, Tommy of Canton, TX, Jamie Larson and husband, Ernie of Malvern, AR, Lisa Hamilton and husband, Alan of Dallas, TX, and Mary Dickson and husband, John of Lavon, TX, and nine great grandchildren.

Arlene was a loving wife and mother. She was a faithful member of Marysville UMC.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., December 17, 2014, at Marysville United Methodist Church in Marysville, AR with Rev. Larry Goza officiating. Interment will follow the ceremony at the Marysville Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
