Back in the fifties Arthur was in our group of squaredancers that danced to the calls of "Tiny" Palmer...seems like yesterday.....

Mr. Arthur was like a grandfather to me and my brother. He took time to teach us important things like how to walk in the garden and the right way to plant beans. He is one of the most tender hearted people I have ever met. He had such a heart for animals and could say the most elegant prayer you have ever heard. I enjoyed watching him later in life teach my own child many of the "important" things. To watch my son follow him through the garden step-for-step and look up to him with such admiration, was heart warming. Mr. Arthur was very special to my family and will always hold a loving place in my heart. Mrs. Vera, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much the two of you leaned on each other. You were the perfect compliment to Mr. Arthur and he to you. I love you and will keep you in my prayers.
