Every moment spent with Ashley was memorable, and I find I can't pick just one. But I do have photos of Ashley with her classmates from the University of the Ozarks with whom she traveled to Italy in May of 2012. She was so excited to go on this trip, but also a little scared; true to her style, however, she challenged herself to joyfully embrace the unfamiliar. My husband and I came to understand over the ensuing years that she was, in fact, the bravest soul we've ever known. I was lucky to have been your undergraduate advisor, Ashley, but I was luckier still to have been your friend. Erik and I will miss you, forever.

She called me one day, out of the blue, and came over and spent the day with me. She talked about our families, politics, and her dreams. There was a lot of laughs that afternoon. Memories were made, she was a special person. Praying for everyone, and will keep you in my heart.

Me and Ashley and JW went Mallard hunting and friends had the spot so we went elsewhere and hoped for the best. Ended up with a few but but hard to pee for a woman with us in the boat. Stayed till the last minute and thankfully the boat ramp had a restroom. WHAT A TROOPER. ALWAYS!!!!

Ashley loved to take advantage of every opportunity to have fun that she came across. She was a free spirit and did what made herself happy. She was never afraid to take chances and to live her best life. Thank you, Ashley, for sharing so many of those adventures with me!
