Aubrey Ballard

He was preceded by his parents Maxie Dell Ballard, Sam Ballard, and Aubrey Maxwell.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Ballard; son, Randy Ballard (Donna); daughter, Emily Gathright (Brandon); grandchildren, Steven, Harlie, Bentley, Chloe, Hunter, Rebekah, and Jonathan; brother, Danny (Randy); sisters, Suzanne (Tommy), Judy, Cheryl, Connie, Vicki, and Linda; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Don graduated from Strong High School and worked for Georgia Pacific as a mechanical and electrical technician for over 33 years. Don was a man of few words. Yet, he was the patriarch. A man completely devoted to his immediate and extended family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever be remembered for his simple unamused nature and his profound impact on the lives he touched.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, August 19, 2024 at Young’s Funeral Home.

A Graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Urbana Cemetery, 101 Sandy Hill Road El Dorado, AR with David Johnson officiating. Burial will follow service under the direction of Young’s Funeral Director’s.
