Azoline Rhodes

She was the daughter of A. J. and Viola Culverhouse Stevens. She taught English for 33 years at Norphlet High School where she served as Student Council Sponsor. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Joe Rhodes.

Survivors include sons, Steven Rhodes and his wife, Sherrie, of Winnfield, Louisiana and Ralph Rhodes and his wife, Linda, of Granbury, Texas; daughters, Jo Ann Pickering and her husband, Paul, of West Monroe, Louisiana, and Cathy Reed and her husband, Al, of Brandon, Mississippi; grandchildren, Trey Pickering, Ginny Bonnette, Jennifer Tuccio, Russell Reed, Shannon McClure, Nathan Rhodes, Chris Rhodes, Chad Rhodes, Alli Westover; numerous great-grandchildren; and a niece, Kathy Traversi of Sacramento, California.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM, Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Terrel Langley officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, Monday, at the funeral home.
