Bennie Dee Taylor Sr.

He was born July 21, 1932 in Lillie, LA to Ellis Taylor and Rudy Hall Taylor. Before retiring Bennie worked as an electrician with the Local #436 and he also had worked as an inspector for Denman Engineering. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death are his parents, an infant sister, a brother, Jerry Taylor and a son, Jeffery Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Barbara Taylor of Spearsville, LA; children, Bennie Taylor, Jr. of El Dorado, Keith Taylor of Spearsville, LA, Nena Snow (Albert) of Fordyce and Raymond Taylor of Junction City; grandchildren, Clay Hendricks (Jordan), Jake Taylor (Angie), Katie Simpson (Kenneth), Wendy Taylor, (Casey), Audrey Miller and Bailey Thomas; a brother, Jack Taylor (Maxine) of Spearsville, LA, and a sister, Ouida Canterberry of Spearsville, LA.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Antioch Church of Christ with Rev. Paul Dunn & Rev. Tommy Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
