Betty J. Page

Betty Joyce (Stringer) Page, age 91, of Farmington, formerly of El Dorado, passed away on July 21, 2023 in the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas while surrounded by her family. She was born on December 31, 1931 in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.

She worked 45 years as a teacher and Librarian, and was active in Arkansas Retired Teachers, and the Veterans of Foreign War, and she was a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Raymond O. Page, and her parents, Vernon Stringer and Tommy Marie Nolen Stringer and a nephew Joe Garcia.

Betty is survived by her son, Shawn Page of Farmington, Arkansas, her daughter, Sherrin Tucker and her only grandson, Hunter Tucker, both from Bentonville, AR.

She is also survived by one sister, Nella (Stringer) Bidwell and several nephews and nieces; Tracie Bidwell, Karen/Sid Todd, Joyce/John Nations, Cindy/Stevie Baker, Lisa Chamlee, Anita/Joel Dillahunty, Sharye Shoup. She left behind her two best friends; Geneva Moss and Grace Case, along with many other friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2023 at Young's.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Young's Chapel with Rev. John Nations officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Sharman Cemetery in Taylor, AR under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
