Born on October 26, 1941 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Elden Anders and Pearl Perkins Anders. Billie retired after 22 years from the Medical Center of South Arkansas where she worked as an operator. Billie was a faithful servant of God and enjoyed studying her Bible. Billie loved her family and playing with her grandchildren and served as the matriarch of her family.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Stanley Brumley; her sisters Jean Brooks, Margie Gott, Mary Meche, Nancy Sue Anders; a brother David Anders; and a granddaughter Hannah Cook.
Survivors are three daughters Mary (Tim) Owens and Sherry (Danny) Smeltzer of Smackover, Susie (Doug) Cook of Nixa, MO; four grandchildren Nicki Sharp, Heather Owens, Cody (Ashley) Cook and Danyelle Smeltzer; great grandchildren Layla Sharp, Eli Owens, Kaden Cook and Hannah Cook..
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at Young's Funeral Directors. The family will be at the Smeltzer residence, 444C Ouachita 72, Smackover, AR.
Graveside services by Young's Funeral Directors will be 1 PM, Saturday, December 19, 2015 with Rev. Silas Duke officiating at Smackover Cemetery.
