

He attended Calion Baptist Church, Calion, Arkansas. Billy was known as Tommy by his family and Tiger by schoolmates and friends. Billy attended Norphlet School. He played football and helped his team win the State Champion Undefeated title in 1966. This is when he got his nickname “Tiger”. Billy was retired from the I.B.E.W. Union 436, like his father and grandfather, for 50 years.
Ginnie and Billy were married May 17, 1973 by his grandfather the late Rev. Hefner. They had a son Nick Daniels that is a SGT. in the Army that has been deployed to Iraq twice with the 25th ID, Afghanistan with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and Korea with the 1st Cavalry. Billy proudly served with the Navy from 69-70 as an Airman Apprentice stationed in Jacksonville, FL.
Billy loved tinkering and driving Ford classic cars, camping, reading Louis L’Amour westerns and his loving cat Tigger. His grandson was the love of his life!
He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy T. Daniels, Sr. and Emma "Irene" Daniels Mathews; grandparents, Rev. Andrew H. Hefner (Sallie); brothers, Larry Joe and David Lee Daniels; and aunt, Fannie Lee Wendt.
Billy is survived by Ginnie Ann (Crow) Daniels his wife of 43 years; sons, Patrick Daniels Temple (Mindy) and their children, and Nickolaus Andrew Daniels (Briane) and their son, Liam Daniels; uncle, Sammy Joe Daniels (Ronna Jean); two aunts, Earlene Loy of El Dorado, Sallie Lucille Sparks of Tulsa, OK; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating and with military honors. Burial will follow at Bethel Primitive Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
