Brenda Jo Ann Shaw

She married Leslie R. Shaw on December 22, 1956. Together, they worked with the Southern Baptist Association as missionaries in Honduras. Brenda was a member of the Smackover First Baptist Church.

She was a devoted mother and wife and homemaker. Her greatest joy in life was her children. In her later years, she was a proud member of Healthworks Pool Pals and enjoyed exercising.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband of 52 years, Leslie R. Shaw; and son, Gregory Shaw.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sandy Wise (Bryan), Debbie Morris (David), Susanna "Sam" Edgmon (Kip), Joanna Shaw; son, Curtis Shaw (Jenny); and daughter-in-laws, Lynette Shaw and Elsy Vasquez; 16 grandchildren; and a multitude of great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2025 at Young's Chapel with Rev. Carley Davis officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
