What a great man! All that knew Butch, loved Butch! He was one of the most giving, family loving, friend loving men I know. His smile, his sense of humor, and his tender heart are all traits I will never forget! He was a gentleman, a manly man, and a man who could do anything! Butch will forever be in our hearts! Rest in the arms of Jesus! We will see you soon❤️❤️

I am terribly sorry for your loss. Butch Atkins was a man's man and a tender hearted soul. Especially when it came to his grandkids. I don't have 1 single memory that stands out. However, my memory of Butch is this... He was always glad to see you and had a big smile and hand shake to go with it. He was as genuine as they came and will be missed dearly. Peace and love be with his family.

So many memories….. I can still see the young man Butch with a flat top haircut on his Cushman scooter tearing up the roads In Wyatt community all the way to the older Butch with his full head of white hair blowing in the wind on his motorcycle down Magnolia Highway. All though these times he remained a friend, loyal American, a wonderful loving provider for his family, and good kind man. Praying for you all!
