Before his retirement, he worked at El Dorado Foundry and El Dorado Chemical. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Louann Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Dorothy Allen and Wyonna Hodges.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Ann Keeling and two sons, Carl Wesley Keeling of Calion and Kenneth Alexander Keeling of Louann; brother Edwin Keeling (Carolyn) of North Richland Hills, Texas and sister Barbara Moser (Philip) of Rogers, AR.
Cremation was entrusted by Youngs Funeral Directors of El Dorado.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Liberty Methodist Cemetery in Louann, AR.
