Carmeta Ann Carver passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Timberlane Health and Rehabilitation in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born January 23, 1933 in Web City, Oklahoma.

She was a long time resident of Liberty, Texas before moving to Louann, Arkansas, and was a member of Joyce City Baptist church of Smackover, Arkansas.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Earl and Grace Montgomery; husband, Jack Carver; two sons, Edwin Carver and Joe Hanson; four sisters; and two brothers.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Jackson (Terry) of Snow Hill, Arkansas; two granddaughters, Teralea Shairrick (Conley) of Smackover, Arkansas, and Valerie Sistrunk (Daniel) of Moore, South Carolina; one grandson, Jack David Carver of Liberty, Texas; nine great grandchildren, and two sisters, Marie Hartsell of Rowlette, Texas and Georgia Cooper of Smackover, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at Young's Funeral Directors.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Cooke Memorial Cemetery in Liberty, Texas with Rev. Jeff Davis officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Dr., Suite 900, Arlington, Virginia 22202.

Patricia I am so sorry for your loss! I just buried my mother yesterday and I understand the emptiness that is felt. I’m grateful for our heavenly home where we true Christians will all be with Jesus for eternity!! God bless and my prayers are with you all!
