Carol Mary Stephens

Carol M. Stephens, 69, Yorba Linda, CA, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center. She was a 25 year resident of El Dorado, prior to moving to California to live with her son, Doug. Carol was born on March 25, 1942, to Hamer Kai and Glendine Strole Rose in Montana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Tommie Stephens.

Survivors include four children, Deb Krajicek of Hot Springs, AR, Sandy Stephens of Olathe, KS, Beverly Atkins of Carthage, TX and Doug Stephens of Fountain Valley, CA; sister, Clarice Amundson of Montana; eleven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at Young’s Chapel under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors, with Tommy Hubbard officiating.

Family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memorial Program, P.O. Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38173-0704, an organization that both Carol and Tom supported during their life.
