Carolyn Bryant Laney

Born November 3, 1935 in Junction City, AR, she was the daughter of Tarriee Edwin and Maude Goocher Bryant. Carolyn was a career educator and had retired from Head Start. She was a lifelong member of Scotland Presbyterian Church.

Preceding her in death along with her parents was a brother, Don Bryant.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Billy W. Laney, two daughters, Vicki Hamaker (Don) and Sandra Bryan (Eddie) all of Junction City. Surviving grandchildren are Justin Hamaker (Melissa) of McKinney, TX, Jana Frisby (Jed) of Junction City, Laney Bryan (Kristyn) of El Dorado and Miranda Bryan of Magnolia, along with great-grandchildren: Kyrstin Hamaker, Abigail Frisby, London Hamaker, Emma Frisby, Mia Hamaker, Addie Bryan, Ryder Bryan and Karson Bryan and a special cousin, Julia Laney Machen of Magnolia, AR.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2041 Wesson Road, Junction City, AR with Bob Vincent and Tom Loftin officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
