She was born August 12, 1945 to Fred Magness and Louise Johnson Magness in Dumas, AR. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Carolyn Sue was a loving mother with a heart of gold and an amazing “Memaw” to everyone. She fought a courageous battle and will always be our hero.
Preceding her in death are her parents; and a brother, Dinky Padgett.
Survivors include son, Jimmy Sherrill of Little Rock, her daughters, Susan Saulsbury (Chris) of El Dorado, Janet Coughenour (Robert) of Camden; grandchildren, Josh Sherrill (Leslie), Brandon Sherrill, Jesse Livingston (Megan), Summer Gorman (Brett), Cassandra Walters (Ray), Sierra Salmon (Dalton), Drew Coughenour, Erin Marques (Ricky), Josh Coughenour (Brittany); great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Jase, Shylah, Ethan, Caleb, Bella, Ainsley, Makenzie, Brayleigh, Brian, Wyatt, and Jasper; and her beloved pup and companion, Rosey.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Young’s.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Young’s Chapel with Terrell Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
