Kay was predeceased in death by her husband, David O McVay and her eldest son Michael W McVay. Kay is survived by her daughter, Karen A Eyhorn of Lubbock, TX, David P McVay of Magnolia, Linda M McVay of El Dorado, Stephen J McVay of El Dorado, Susan K McVay of Amarillo, TX, Patrick G McVay (wife Tham) of El Dorado, and a special friend of the family, Steve Ware of El Dorado.
Kay was blessed to have 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The viewing will be at 10:00 am on Monday, August 10, 2026 followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors in El Dorado.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in El Dorado or to the charity of the donor's choice.
