

Born on September 4, 1927 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, he was the son of William S. and Arkie Lloyd Height. Charlie was in the auto parts business in El Dorado for several years first as co-owner of Stover Auto Supply and later Height’s Auto Supply. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Charlie was preceded in death by his wife Louise Nash Height, and his parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra Endel (Greg) of Bossier City, LA and a son Andy Ganaway (Janie) of Hot Springs, AR. Also surviving are grandchildren, Stephen Ganaway (Donna) of Little Rock, Rebecca Ganaway of London, U.K., Damon Endel (Tiffany) of Bossier City, LA and Jeremy Endel of Haughton, LA and great-grandchildren, Harrison Ganaway, Danielle Endel, Devin Endel and Gabrielle Endel. Other survivors include cousins, Betty Stover Borghi of Camarillo, CA, Joe Robertson, and Betty Stover of El Dorado, and special friend Jane Hunt of Bossier City, LA
The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 23, 2013 in the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Faron Rogers and Kay Rudell officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
