Charlotte Pratt

Charlotte Pratt, affectionately known as “Annie” to her siblings, or “Mudner” by all the children who loved her, met Jesus face-to-face on December 28 at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, fierce love, and joyful strength.

She was a woman of deep and steady faith, the strongest many had ever known. She studied the Bible consistently, prayed fervently, and lived her beliefs with loud conviction and bold courage. Her faith was not just spoken; it was practiced, daily and deliberately.

In her work, she treated her clients like family, offering care, loyalty, and compassion that went far beyond obligation. To know her was to be looked after.

She was spiritual and grounded, tough and sweet, stubborn in the way that anchors a family, and tender in the way that makes people feel safe. During the annual family Christmas talent show, she could be found doing the Urbana Boogie or sharing stories of her childhood reminding everyone that joy and reverence can share the same room; although this was not just limited to Christmas as she loved music, dancing and singing hymns.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Buddy and Frank Thurman; her sisters, Grace Calhoun and Janis Mollerberg; her parents; and her son, Christian Holan.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Lee Roy; her children, Lisa Bradley (Carl) and Kenneth Holan; grandchildren, Jessica Falcon (Joey) and Jared Pepper; treasured great-grandsons, Drake and Lane Falcon; sisters, Joan Taunton and Paula McLoud; along with many cherished nieces and nephews. All of whom are covered by her prayers, her laughter, and her strength.

Her life was a testament to faith lived out loud, love given freely, and joy found in both the sacred and the simple. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Young's Chapel with Dr. David Bush officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Urbana Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
