Christine Watts

Born March 22, 1923 in Rome, Mississippi she was the daughter of Lonnie V. and Nellie Gray Young.

Mrs. Watts was a teller with Smackover State Bank for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norphlet.

Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Tommy Leon Watts and a sister, Genophia Breeland.

Survivors include a son, Ronnie Watts (Gloria) of Shelbyville, TX, a brother Tommy Young (Elizabeth) and a sister Bobbie Savage all of Charleston, Mississippi. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Rhonda Watts, Sonya Haggard and Kelly Shields and one great-grandchild, Rylee Haggard.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Ronnie Watts officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
