

Conner Hayden Burchfield, 18, of Fayetteville and formerly of the Smackover and El Dorado communities, died November 18, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, following a brief illness. He was born November 23, 1994, the son of Barry Burchfield (Jeanne McCool) and Dana Freese (Steve).
Conner was a 2012 graduate of Fayetteville High School and a first semester Freshman at Northwest Arkansas Community College where he was studying Information Technology. Conner enjoyed watching movies with his friends and was a fan of anything with special effects. He was an avid online gamer, spending many nights defeating other gamers, and celebrating his victories by sleeping in. Conner had a great sense of humor and loved a good laugh. He had a love for animals and will be missed by his dog, Gracie and his parrot, Jerry.
Conner is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Tony Burchfield; and his uncle, David Childs.
He is survived by his brothers, Zach and Evan Burchfield; and a sister, Brady all of Fayetteville as well as a step-brother, Caleb Pocernich of Spooner, WI. He leaves behind, his maternal grandparents, Rudy and Betty Bright of Smackover; his paternal grandmother, Sue Burchfield of El Dorado; and his step-grandparents, Denny and Anna Freese of Fayetteville. Conner was adored by his girlfriend, Alexis Martin, who totally put the happy in in his smile. He will be remembered with love by his uncles, Rudy Bright (Cheri) of Houston, TX, Jeff Burchfield of El Dorado, Philip Burchfield and Chris Burchfield both of Alanta, GA; and aunts, Debra Mock (Tommy), Anita Childs, and Jackie Dodd (Mike) all of El Dorado. His cousins, Dean and Daisy Bright, Neal and Nolan Mock, Adam (Brandi) and Alex Childs, Gabrielle Bernard, Steven Cuzzilla, Delaney Dodd, and Elizabeth Burchfield will all miss him dearly.
Funeral arrangements will be made by Young’s Funeral Directors of El Dorado. Visitation will be Friday, November 23, 2012, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 24, at 10:00 a.m. at the Smackover Cemetery with Rev. Denny Freese officiating.
