Connie Sue was my cousin and a
good friend, as well. We are deeply
sharing the grief of your loss. Each
life is touched by others. With some
the touch lingers forever. That is
how Connie Sue touched me. I’ll
always remember our last conversation. She said she wanted
to hear my “sweet voice” one last
time, and then she told me about
her cancer. Connie Sue and her
mother, my Aunt Myrtis, loved to
get my letters. Aunt Myrtis could
not write because the arthritis in
her hands made it difficult to do so.
Connie Sue hated writing letters
so I always made sure my letters
were long and newsy. Connie Sue
said I definitely knew how to write
a letter. I’ll always remember our
last phone call and hearing her
“sweet voice” for the last time. With
sympathy and prayers, ELIZABETH
ANNE GAZIN

Cousin Connie Sue was as much a friend as a relative while we were growing up. We lived in Texas but would travel back to to visit everyone twice a year. I could hardly wait. I remember the Christmas meals, Bible School together, fishing and just plain old "playing together and enjoying everybody's company". I was not able to be there to visit with friends and family Friday night. It left a deep sorry in my heart. I will miss Connie Sue dearly as I do the other family members who have gone on before her.

So sad to learn about Connie’s death. She and her mother, Myrtis, were such good neighbors and friends to my mother. I’ll never forget their kindness. Please know that all of Connie’s family will be in my prayers. With love from Ruth Ann (Womack) Poole

I grew up with Connie. So sorry to hear of her passing

Connie was a dear friend and just like a cousin when we were kids. I spent half my childhood playing with her and am so sorry for her passing. I just found out Friday that she was so sick. Prayers for comfort for her family .Rest high on that mountain Connie.

Connie was a dear friend and as close when we were kids as cousins. I wanted to give my heartfelt condolences to her family and pray for peace and comfort. Sandra Miller Wright.
