

Dale Rowland Stringfellow, 85, of El Dorado, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. He was born on July 14, 1940 to Vander Cleveland Stringfellow, Jr. and Ruth Hodnett Stringfellow in Hampton, AR.
He was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves, the owner and operator of his own floor installation business and served as a deacon at Parkview Baptist Church. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. His most favorite title was Pawpaw Dale. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time at lakes and rivers with his family and friends. He spent countless hours teaching kids how to water ski and slinging them off inner tubes!
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife of 55 years, Patricia Nowlin Stringfellow; his sisters, Vicki Bradford, Betty Ann Stringfellow; and brother-in-law, George Freeman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Becky Rainwater (Tim), Stacy Thurmon (Kenny); granddaughters, Kayla Black (Brent), Kara Rainwater, Karlee Thurmon; great granddaughters, Adelyn and Ansley Black; brother, Rodney Stringfellow (Pat); sister, Kay Freeman; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 in Young’s Chapel with Bro. Ken Nelson officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pickett Cemetery in Hampton under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
