Oh, Mike... As I’ve tried to find the words to say, they just don’t come out. We’ve had our fair share of ups and downs, and I’m pretty sure I kept you on your toes, but the love we shared was something that no one could ever understand or take away. I’m so thankful for my little brother, and so thankful you raised him to be such a nice, gentle, hardworking young boy. He will continue to live through you and boy he has some big shoes to fill but I know you are with him and my mom every step of the way. I’ll definitely miss your jokes because there wasn’t a time I didn’t see you that you didn’t have some type of joke to say ! You were loved by so many, and will be missed by so many. There’s no more pain, no more stress and victory is yours. Continue to watch over all of the boys and my mom. There was no doubt that you loved them with everything you had. Thank you. Things won’t be the same for sure without you, but you are in a much better place, and I know you’ll make a great guardian angel. Love you and we will all miss you. Rest Easy.

Karen, Luke & Lillian, words are not enough to express my heartbreak for your loss. I did not see y'all very often but each time I have you are always so gracious. Mike always had so much fun making sure the kids got to experience all of the animals and farm life when Luke had an event with his friends on the farm.
I know how very important Mike was to the family and how very much he is going to be missed!

I can’t find the words to say what I feel in my heart. Our church family is small and very close. I’m so thankful for the Robertsons. We have had so many fun and great times.
We thought the world of Mike and he will be missed. He always had a smile on his face and ready to help anyway he could. Karen and Luke y’all are in our prayers. If you need anything let us know. We love y’all!

Love,
Gary, Brandy, Brennan and Landen

Words are never adequate in moments like these. We will say though, that our hearts go out to the family, and we will always remember the joyous memories that we are privileged to have in knowing Mike. May God's peace be with the family. Mike will be greatly missed.

There are so many memories of Mike but would like to share a couple when I was .

Lake D’Arboone – My sister and I use to go see my grandparents and Aunt and Uncle, all of whom had a house on the lake. My grandparents had an awesome boat dock with a slide. Do you remember when Jaws came out? Of course, you do! LOL

Picture a huge lake, jaws, and two young girls. Mike decided to play a joke on us after we had swum far from the dock. He yells…. SHARK…..SHARK. Me not knowing at the time sharks were not in a lake; needless to say, I was panicking and swimming for my life. Once back to the dock, he hugged me and told me there wasn’t a shark, but it was funny watching me. I never let him, or Steve forget the amount of terror they put in me that day.

“Going to California” - Visiting my Aunt Lillian and Uncle Billy Don, Mike and Steve in the summers was a blast. Their property has a huge pond, woods, horses, and many other four-legged animals. We would ride horses. One ride, Mike and Steve told us to saddle up we were headed to California. Me, thinking it was true was beside myself. My sister knew better but played along. I was so disappointed we weren’t “going to California.” Once again, he got me with a good joke. Mike and his brother Steve told me I was too gullible…. lol They were right.

Soft Spot in My Heart – After my father passed away in 1984; I gained a huge soft spot for Mike. My dad always said he thought Mike looked like the Hall side of the family. Mainly in those brown eyes of his.

I could go on and on about memories of Mike, but I had to share two of the funniest.

I pulled out pictures last night. Gosh I had so much fun growing up with you. Mike, I miss you terribly, but will always have my memories!

Love you so much!!
Carolyn
