Donald E. Hearin, a lifelong resident of El Dorado, went to be with our Savior on July 25, 2026 at the age of 92. Born March 13, 1934 in El Dorado, he was the son of A.W. and Marjorie Hearin, who preceded him in death. He is survived by Kathy, his former spouse of 35+ years, and daughter Deanna, as well as his son-in-law and two grandsons.
In his lifetime, he was a jack of all trades. He was a restaurant owner, mobile home dealer, commercial tomato producer, dry cleaners owner, RV and special interest vehicles dealer, and hot air balloon owner and enthusiast.
He was also a veteran of the United States Army, and had been stationed in Japan and Korea. Services with military honors were held on August 3, 2026, and burial was in Arlington Cemetery.
