Dorothy Priscilla “Prissy” Cathey, 60 of Calion, formerly of St. Francisville, LA, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015, at her residence. She was born November 24, 1954, to George R. and Dorothy H. Cathey in Clinton, LA. Prissy was co-owner of Flowers by Cathey.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frankie Cathey, and great niece, Gracie Meredith.
Survivors include her two daughters, Reanna Johnson (Neal) of Calion, Lanie Cathey of St. Francisville, LA; two grandsons, Junior and Weston; two granddaughters, Aliena and Jovi; five nieces and nephews, Tanya, Jenele, Tater, Tommy, Frankie and their spouses; six great nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Ronald Cathey (Shari) and George Cathey.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Young’s.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015, at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Bro. David Preston officiating.
