Elizabeth Conn Costley, 83, died Friday, December 2, 2022 at Courtyard Health and Rehabilitation in El Dorado. She was born December 5, 1938 in Benton, Tennessee, the daughter of John Henry and Arva Bolt Dilworth.
Her family moved to Mississippi where she completed school. She then attended Blue Mountain College where she received a B.S. degree in Home Economics. They lived in several states on the west coast and east coast until his retirement when they moved to El Dorado.

They were both interested in scouting, and when they were Cub Scouts, she served as a Den Mother and Cub Master. She attended all of their ball games. She was always active in the Baptist Church where they lived. At times she sang in the choir, played the piano, and taught Sunday School. When her sons left for college, she worked for the government as a Federal Test Administrator.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Hensley Dilworth; one sister, Frances Freeman; and one grandson, Ian Costley.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Costley; two sons, William L. Costley, III and Philip C.
