

She was a member of Westside Assembly of God Church for more than fifty years, served as Sunday School Secretary and Treasurer for more than forty years, and She also worked as a PBX operator for Warner Brown Hospital and the Medical Center of South Arkansas for twenty-eight years, until her retirement in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, John A. Parker, two brothers, Donald R. Hopkins, Sr. and his wife Elo Ann Hopkins, Billy W. Hopkins; and her very close and dearest friend, Mary Jo Tomlinson.
She is survived by her son, John R. “Johnny” Parker, a brother, Doyle Kenneth Parker (Margaret) ; sister-in-law, Sue Hopkins; nieces, Dewanna Sue Lamb, Penny Chanler, Cindy Smith, Kennetha Parker; and nephews, Billy Hopkins, Jr., Donald R. Hopkins, Jr., John W. Hopkins, and Kenneth Michael Parker.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Young’s Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Young’s Chapel with Rev. Don Ashcraft officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery near Bearden, AR.
